The BMW iX project offered me to design my very first seats of this very modern and fully electric SUV.
All seats are designed for a maximum of comfort in harmony with modern and clear gesture.
The front seats features are sporty shaped and integrated headrests while the asymmetric seat cushions having an inviting character to enter your living space on wheels. The back panels of the front seats offering independent charging and sharing of your mobile devices. The asymmetric shaped map pockets pick up the interior graphic design language and complete the front seats in a holistic way.
The rear seats are the living room of the BMW iX. They are designed like a cozy couch which offers you soft and comfy areas where you need it. Coming from the door design, the seats are graphically seamless connected and extend the visual space. It´s practicality is given through a 40/20/40 splitting to use the maximum trunk size.
